Eddie Current arrived at his first day of formal education unable to read, calculate his figures, and barely able to speak in complete sentences. He was big for his age and he intimated some of the smaller creatures. When I met him, he had just been involved in a scuffle with Madison Sparrow and it made me mad that he had pushed her down on her rump. I stormed up to him and made him apologize right then and there, on the spot. He burst out into tears, fell on his face and begged forgiveness from Madison and then from me. I saw right away that he wasn't being aggressive when he knocked Madison down, he was over-excited to finally meet children his own age. He was in awe of Madison and how cute she was and he had tripped over his long tail .......more to come.
