It is a dark and desolate thing, to feel discomfort in one's own skin, to feel as though home is not within one's own flesh. When Samitha first found a place to call home and a human not just to call owner but friend, it was not just as what felt like the wrong pet species and color, but also gender.

Thankfully trips to the Zapper provided a way to fix the situation, Samitha knew she was meant to be a female, but not what she was meant to be as a pet. Her human was quite happy to provide trip after trip to it in order to make the confused and glum pet happy.

It didn't take long to be turned into a female, and for a while, they took a break visiting the Zapper. During this break, several more pets were brought home and everything seemed to be falling into place. Samitha found herself head over heels for Uko, the despondent looking but secretly cheerful frozen Neela. Soon, Samitha began to think she could just stay an experimental pet and be happy.

An accident with the zapper and another pet turned her into a Reborn Demi, but proved to be partially beneficial. Finally at home in her own skin, the red hot pet raced to her love to inform her of the news, only to tragically find her flames keep them apart.
