I found it while bushwalking. Its shell was broken. I picked it up, took it home, and raised it in a box until it grew a new one. I was going to release it when its shell grew back, because it could defend itself now. But it didn't want to go. I put it in my vegetable garden. This was only a few weeks ago, and it's already eaten pretty much everything. I'd kick it out, but it looks sad.
