Happiness and rainbows. Bright colors. She collected all the things that made her happy, to put it simply. Life wasn't always a ray of sunshine and lately, most days were harder rather than easy. So she tried to fill her life with simple things, happy things, things that made her smile, or at least made her realize that things weren't always going to be like this. It was easier to keep up the facade of a happy, cheerful person when she could look at a little unicorn figurine or a rainbow magnet. Even when she was crying on the inside, she made sure the world only saw a smile. It was easier that way, not having to explain anything. The little chibi figurines and pastel-colored keychains made that smile come a little easier. One day, maybe that smile would even be a real one. Until then, she'd do as a friend said - fake it 'til you make it.
