It's hard for a star

Little Kokabiel was named after the Angel of Stars, but really, they were the spaces in-between; the voids, the silence, the empty, cold darkness. Kokabiel could see farther than most; could see everything and nothing all at once.

But they were young, so young compared to the rest of them, and such knowledge, such sight was a burden on a child. The aptly-named Emissary of Voids was the first to be coddled by Matariel, awakening her motherly streak.

So, it was only natural that when Matariel and her beloved decided to make the trek to the mortal plane, Kokabiel came with.
