'Uuugghhh...', I turned on my vision and started to look around.
'W-Where am I?', I see something white.

"हमने कुछ नया खोजा!" (We discovered something new!)

'Huh? What was that?', I looked behind me and saw two creatures.
'Who and what are they? Do they know who and where I am?',
I tried to come up to them and ask, but I couldn't move.
I just noticed right now, that my body is a silver liquid.
I am not able to move unless my platform inclines.

Oh! The creatures are coming towards me.
'Excuse Me! Do you know who and where I am?!', I asked,
but they don't seem to understand nor hear me neither...

And I don't seem to understand them neither.
I am a bit tired, I guess I'll rest for a bit.

It has been like a year or a half now,
and I kind of understand their language.

They have been doing a lot of experiments with me lately,
like putting items next to me, like gold or something.

They have also been saying the word 'Hydrargyrum' for a long time now.
Perhaps, that is my given name? Hydrargyrum is a decent name.
Okay, from now on I will call myself Hydrargyrum!

Oh! Someone's coming, they don't look like the adults I saw.
They are children! Three children! What are they doing here?! They must leave!
'Hey! Get out of here!', they can't seem to hear me, like always.

Oh no, one of the three is coming to get me! 'No! Stop!', I closed my eyes...

I can see the scenery where I was in and the new one. I have been split apart.

I see some pouches that are pumping something, I mostly see red.
If I can remember clearly, I saw this from a book I peeked at.
Is this what they call, the inside of a Human Body?

"AAAGGCCK!! AAAHHH!!!"
"W-what happened?! Are you okay?!!"
"L-let's call someone for help!"
"HHHEEELP!! MCKKMEE!!!"
"We'll come back for you!"

"GGAAAAACKK!!! AAAAACK!! IT HURTS!!!"

Back to Hydrargyrum:

I have been travelling in this child's body,
and haven't been really paying attention to what's happening outside.
But, something strange is happening in this child's body.
The stream of blood is slowing down.
Is the body dying? Why? Is it because of me?

The second vision disappeared, now I'm back to my old scenery.
And the first thing I saw on the floor, is the body of the child.
I was dumbfounded and stared for a moment, processing this.
I am dangerous, people need to stay away from me.


A few minutes later, A lot of people came.
They buried the poor child, as for me, I am still getting experimented.
But now, they are even more careful with me. Good!

They invented machines using me, like the 'Thermometer'!
Despite my toxic properties, I am actually useful!

Some people even used me for making hats from animal pelts!
But, sadly most people had brain damage because of it!
Ha, they even made a term called 'Mad as a Hatter' because of it!

But, the best thing is...
I am part of this group called 'The Periodic Table of Elements'!
I am really famous! They even made me my own symbol!

'Hg' means 'Hydrargyrum'



Recently, a lot have been calling me names like 'Mercury' and 'Quicksilver',
but I already love and used to the name 'Hydrargyrum' so I won't change it.
I don't really have friends because I'm toxic, but I'm fine with that.
