Kai is the reason Vai exists as the latter consists of all the anger and agony the former had suffered. Vai despises how 'soft' her other is and wants nothing more than to show Kai that if they work together, they could overcome even the harshest of adversaries. Unfortunately, any time Vai gets close enough to interact there is always some sort of distraction on either her part or Kai's, pulling the pair further from one another. It only contributes to the collective rage poor Vai has sitting in her soul.Grievance
An angry wolf that was formed after the original vessel had perished. Vai does not know exactly where this one came from as most others seem to emerge from a nearby lake when ready for the world of the living again. His name became Grievance but the others tend to call him Grieve for short. He does not speak very well and can only talk in sentence fragments. This does not mean he is brainless though. He's quite the calculator when it comes to stalking, attacking and moving targets. Apparently he can sense grief and uses this to his advantage though Vai has yet to understand how. She always seems to black out when he's about to work his magic...Headmold
Headmold is someone she holds very near and dear to her blackened heart. The strange tiger had been created by the infernal cult god named Ophius, who is hated in their small community for his constant meddling in their affairs. According to Vai, the only good thing to come of this awful wolf god is Headmold. He had defied Ophius while he had been alive and was brought to the Paradise Lost's labs for experimentation. His body had been mutilated beyond recognition but he gained a sort of mind control. Apparently Headmold can easily sway those with weak minds to follow his voice and meet their fate at the hands of that cult. He had also tried it on Vai but failed as her mind was too strong to break. From there they developed a bit of a friendship that blossomed into devoted care for one another. Vai would gladly slay his enemies without a second thought and he would do the same. She hopes one day that Headmold can break free of that place so that they could stay close in their untouched forest.
