A Faithful Guardian

Kai was found as a small, weak cub by Aikaterine one day while she was trying to get home and out of the rain. She heard soft squeaks come from behind a car in the alleyway and went to check it out. Little did she know she would stumble across the tiny tiger! Of course Aika's got a big heart and brought her home. She was able to nurse the kitten back to health. To this day Kai is ever thankful the human stumbled across her as she knows that she wouldn't have made it then. She made a promise to stay with this faithful, kind human and help her with... well... whatever the human asked of her. Most times it's just taking her to work and back when her car is broken down. As for the rest of the Pack, she's not quite fond of them. Especially the Orange One (Ollie) and the Rotund One (Bruce). Any time Bruce comes for a visit, Kai makes sure to sit and take up Aika's entire lap. There will be no flirting here! No sirree! She still doesn't know what her human sees in the other but it must be something spectacular for her to put up with him for so long. Ollie is just far too loud and over-excitable. His boundless energy makes the winged cat dizzy. She's somewhat okay with Buckie. He gives her a couple of scritches on the head and minds his business which she likes a lot. He always smells like alcohol but her human says it's because he works at something called a "Bar". Who would want to work with such smells baffles her but whatever make him happy she supposes. With Hector she tries to be gentle as he still seems to fear her when he comes around. He goes out of his way to give Kai plenty of space, which is fantastic! But she also knows it's out of pure terror despite her human telling him time and time again she would never attack him. Shame. His loss. When Kai is home alone she likes to play with a little stuffed fox or bats around a little plush cloud with cat ears. Or perhaps she's lounging on the couch just waiting for Aika's shift to end so they can spend time together.
