Mysterious and stoic, Tempesta kinda showed up at home one day and asserted himself.
I'm not sure where he came from, just that he was there when I opened the door one night during a particularly strong storm. He stepped right into the living room like the place was his, plopped down on the rug and took a monumental nap.
Dripping blood aside, he was completely dry, despite the pouring rain.
I don't even know if I'm his first owner or just the last in a long line. I wonder about it sometimes. At night, just before falling asleep, if there were others... what happened to them? Is he some kind of doom-bringer? He never tells.
Even when I was a bit scared whenever I woke up to minty glowing eyes staring at me from the darkness, I warmed up to him quite quickly. He sits nearby in silence while I read, follows me around when I'm doing chores and is one of the few that can make Okeani and Kenny stop making a ruckus. Which is VERY appreciated.
It was very rewarding when he started accepting pats.
He may have something in store for me in the future, but right now he's family.
