After being plucked from his childhood home in Thailand after abuse and neglect by his biological mother, Skye was raised from the age of six by a warm, loving family in the suburbs of Tokyo, which allowed him to have a normal, calm, and uneventful life. His life was flooded with the arts, but he had a fondness for music, spending hours on his family's piano to the point that schoolwork would be left by the wayside.

By the time he was thirteen, though, signs of mental illness began to show through, and was quickly diagnosed with PTSD and severe anxiety. It was music that saved him, he thinks; in his darkest hours, Skye would resign himself to that same piano, pouring his emotions into the keys and letting his mind settle on the notes that surrounded him.

Now in his mid twenties, Skye has moved away from his home in Tokyo, in an attempt to learn how to survive despite his mental baggage, and in doing so, he has dedicated his life to his music, and to a few kindred spirits that help keep him afloat.
