What a busy few days I've had! And some very profitable ones too!
As a reward for reaching Tier 2 I bought a shiny Jewel Encrusted Quill for myself. It's important to get a treat every now and then, and it does suit me rather well. ^.^
(Plus I have to visit the Healer less, so that's a small saving.)

My experiment with the Weapons Warehouse netted an amazing profit; I don't understand why so many rare items were just left sitting there o.O But more for me I guess. I also went back to Spells Galore and managed to snag some of the rare scroll ingredients that I need, though I think certain ingredients are going to be a problem...

My current goal is to get to 70 intelligence so I'm ready for yet another job promotion; I'm now a full-fledged security guard, but there are still higher salaries to be earned.

Buying things from this Spells Galore shop seems to be very lucrative, since I woke up to 500k in my shop till! O.O
A pity that I can only hang around there when A) Kal is at her desktop PC, and B) While she's doing something mindless on the other window... like quests. Unfortunately Kal didn't even have the time to do her usual quests today, so I employed a different strategy with the Weapon Warehouse (which stocks all but one of my wishlist weapons); instead of waiting around for each restock I instead bought every item that would give ~8k in profit if sold. By the time I got to the bottom of the shop I'd spent a whopping 122,814sp... but hopefully it will pay off in the morning.

With such wealth at my disposal it may seem tempting to buy some really nice weapons or scrolls, but I shall resist. There are some very expensive weapons that I want in the future, and Kal will soon be busy with a Gelly War; so it's best to keep saving until I actually NEED to buy better things.

We should reach Tier 2 tomorrow!!
All the weapons I have are modded and ready to go, so I'll probably do a lot of fighting while Kal does her quests, instead of stalking the shops. Until then though I'll be busy working - the Pawn Shop has seen fit to promote me to the Night Shift. ^.^

After a day of research (and some more token farming) I now have a decent starting set for my next Tier, along with a shopping list... because I refuse to pay full price for these things when I don't need them yet, so I can try to restock them until they become necessary.

My scroll heal is also getting a little ineffective, so I'll be looking to replace that eventually. Unfortunately scrolls are expensive, and it will be a little while until I can win / earn a better one. I can make a start on building them though, and I took advantage of Kal's large desktop screen to restock some ingredients from Spells Galore while she did all her quests (extra-browser-window power, YEAH!)

As for my growing pile of CSC, I could of course use it for auto-training and get strong really quickly, but then I would have less time to save for weapons, and no extra challengers! In particular I'd like to unlock at least Forj, for her free Parched Crystals (lots of future savings there!), so I'll keep my CSC for now. Though I might spend some if there's a nice opponent to unlock on Black Friday.

In the end I spent nearly 40k today (and 80 tokens), and am well on my way to building both a Divine Denizhen Scroll (for those pesky 'no-healing' opponents), and a Sancturia Exodin Scroll (for some nice defence on a healing turn).

After 2 days, and a fair amount of sad trips to the Healer (boy, she's going to get expensive in the future), I've managed to beat several opponents all the way to 25 wins! I focused on the slower ones first; as they can no longer Crit me; meaning that the damage I took each turn was always consistent. Eclipse and Coeli are becoming less of a challenge as my HP gets higher, and after buying a new shield, but I think I would need to be a little bit into Tier 2 before going for multiple wins on them.

One surprising problem opponent I've found is Esmeralda, with her potentially high Wind damage, which there just isn't a way for me to block. I think she may also require some Tier 2 level stats / weapons for multiple wins. I spent some time at Defend and Conquer today, trying to grab a Kora Orb of Foresight (which will help against Esmeralda a little), but have yet to see one. I DID, however, have some really good luck and snagged a KT Ring that I can sell for some bonus funds (I managed to defend it from Tarrant and the other vultures!)

I'll be doing some shopping tomorrow, as my shop has earned quite some amount of money, as well as making a plan for my CSC (I've found a whole TWO Morty Cards so far!!)

With most of the Morostide lag gone I went ahead and earned my 5 wins on almost every Easy challenger (Eclipse and Coeli are a pain, and I might need a Fire block for Esmeralda...)

I've been doing well collecting Easy Tokens, and should have enough for some Tier 2 weaponry soon. Good thing too - it's only 154 points away!! I also read the books that I won (free Intel, yay!), and even got another free point from my job; lucky me!

Lastly, I also managed some slick negotiating with Tarrant, and he agreed that he really didn't need CSC of his own (since he can borrow Kal's almighty credit card), so I can keep the freebies from the Bathhouse and quests! Such funds will have to be spent very carefully of course; those Morty Cards are rare.

After some days of training and BQing (Tarrant is letting me complete levels 1-5 without complaint, now that he has his sweet knife from Rouland) my stats have grown quite a bit, and I sold a lot of items! All in all I spent a mere 2,736sp on training, and got 128,996sp for my shiny winnings, plus another 300 from my new employer - the Pawn Shop.

Eclipse is still tough to beat, so I restocked a cheap Purple Love Shield, and Celinox Crystal Gauntlets to make life a little easier until I get bigger, and a Burning Star Rod (which just happened to be in stock), which is a bit nicer than my Rainbow one.

My training went well and I reached level 4, then level 5 after another session; now I'm training my Health. I also went and beat up Wurlm 10 times for some more sweet loot. Instead of paying to heal (what foolishness!!) I spent some of my cash and made a Universal Antidote, then used Scary Chairy to heal; total cost of 1,432sp, which is cheaper than the usual Kerubi Orb of Doom. I also grabbed a 2nd Naga Fang from the shop to sell (another 482sp).

Some items sold during the night and I could afford some books now, but Kalkatak knows how to play Towers of Hanoi Mystic Spindles, so I can get some Intel for free! (She also knows how to solve Blackout, Balloon Sweeper, and Subeku, but Tarrant steals all the money from them). 10 games of Classic 6 later (with a best time of 1min 42sec) she earned me 43,400sp, and 150 shop points, so I got 5 free Intel; YAY!
After some careful bargain hunting using my Subetalodge List, I managed to buy 43 books with 42,666sp, so I'm smart enough to use my scroll now - time for some real battles!

With my new-found powers of healing, and much clicking, I beat down a number of other opponents for more sweet loot, including some books! I could read them for free Intel, but since they're expensive they can go in the shop - so I can buy many books instead. I also won some stat boosting eggs (which I'll keep for later), and a nice bomb to add to my set. Finally, after much pleading and begging, Tarrant allowed me to complete the first 5 levels of BQs. Eclipse was a big challenge that took the investment of most of our EXP to get past, but we cleared them and the boss in the end! Time to train level overnight again.

Mah birthday! I was created today, and am already fuelled with the desire to save money!
I picked up my free stuff from the Beginner Guide and headed off to train with Aboxalypse... 5 wins (and several hundred turns) later I won a new blaster, which made the next 5 wins go slightly faster.
Willowisp is still too big for me (-30sp for a Healer trip), but thankfully it's Morostide time and there is Scary Chairy to beat up! After some more battles we put our loot in the shop and had a rest.

I sold a plushie! With my new-found wealth of 18k I hung around the Apothecary until the ingredients for a Champion Scroll were in stock, then I bugged my buddy Tarrant until he made one for me (he seemed to be busy beating up some huge spider), total cost of 5,192sp. I'll work on getting that 3AP to use it tomorrow! For now though, I'll train my Level while Kalkatak sleeps.
