Spruce's treasures are all items I associate with Detective Llewellyn Watts, from Murdoch Mysteries.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Category 1: Food/Drink - Llewellyn likes food a lot. Anytime it is offered he will accept. When he sees leftover food, he will take some off the plate, or if there is a cup that still has some liquid left, he will take a drink. It is comforting to him as well.
Specific mentions:
Pretzel - general, many episodes, from season 10 (first season Llewellyn is in) on. Llewellyn really loves pretzels!
Apple - general, many episodes, Llewellyn loves apples almost as much as pretzels!
Peppermint - Season 13, episode 11 - Staring Blindly into the Future. Technically, what Llewellyn eats is a pink pillow (after dinner) mint (Llewellyn doesn't like the hard holiday type peppermint), but I couldn't find one, so this will have to do. When several people go missing at a symposium for the future, police are assigned to protect the remaining guests, and Llewellyn is assigned to Emma Goldman. They are sitting at a bar watching Andrew Carnegie deliver a speech. There is a bowl of mints on the bar table, next to Llewellyn, and he takes one out of the bowl and eats it.
Snickerdoodles - Season 13, episode 9 - The Killing Dose. Llewellyn and George are investigating a theft in an apartment building. The man whose money was stolen made snickerdoodles and offers them to Llewellyn and George. George doesn't take one, but Llewellyn does (as always), and proceeds to savour it. He then looks at the plate of cookies and the man asks if he wants more. Llewellyn takes several more cookies, eats another one, and puts the rest in his pocket. Later, he takes a cookie out of his pocket, and proceeds to eat the cookie. - Season 17, episode 9 - The Christmas List. Llewellyn attends a holiday party at George's and Effie's house. There is a plate of snickerdoodles on the dinner table and Llewellyn takes one and eats it.
Maple leaf cookies - Season 17, episode 15 - Murdoch and the Treasure of Lima. This is another stand in as it is actually rectangular shaped cookies. A man named Dr. Hardy is looking for treasure and goes to Llewellyn because Llewellyn has an heirloom that may show the location of the treasure. Llewellyn and Dr. Hardy are sitting at table in Llewellyn's apartment, and there are cookies on the table, likely baked by Llewellyn.
Wine Pairings - Season 11, episode 2 - Merlot Mysteries. While investigating the case of a man poisoned with a bottle of wine, Llewellyn is shown reading a periodical about wine, for which the victim wrote a piece. It is also found out that Llewellyn is an oenophile.
Red wine - Season 11, episode 2 - Merlot Mysteries, and various episodes. This is Llewellyn's favourite type of wine. Since Llewellyn is an oenophile, as mentioned, he drinks wine a lot, however Merlot Mysteries is the first time we see him more obviously drinking wine, and talking about his appreciation for it.
Pumpkin Pie - Season 15, episode 6 - I Know What You Did Last Autumn. Llewellyn is shown holding an entire pumpkin pie, and eating some of it, by which time it is already half gone. Clearly Llewellyn loves pumpkin pie.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Category 2: Nature - Llewellyn really appreciates nature, and things that come from nature, particularly plants. At his desk, he has various potted plants, which he tends to meticulously.

Specific mentions:

Dopey Carved Pumpkin - Season 15, episode 6 - I Know What You Did Last Autumn. Llewellyn is holding a pumpkin carving contest to celebrate Halloween. He carves two pumpkins, and they are rather, um, odd, but endearing!

Happy And Sad Carved Pumpkin - Season 15, episode 6 - I Know What You Did Last Autumn. Representing the other odd, yet endearing, pumpkin that Llewellyn carves.

Book of Nature - Season 11, episode 8 - Brackenreid Boudoir, and various episodes. This is to represent that Llewellyn likes nature and likes reading about it. There are a few episodes where some range of this is shown, but Brackenreid Boudoir is the first time Llewellyn specifically comments about.

Ember Fallen Leaf - general. Like me, Llewellyn is neuro divergent. As such, he does various things to help him stay calm, and deal with sensory and emotional overload. One of the main things is taking leaves, flowers, etc. and sort of fidgeting with and rubbing them with his fingers. I don't really know how to describe, but it is obviously comforting for him. I put the leaves on here since it is so common for him to grab them.

White Long Feather - general. Llewellyn likes feathers a lot, he likes the feel of them, and he particularly likes to put them in the band of his hat.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Category 3: Items used at Station House 4 and while working on cases - I put all of these because Llewellyn uses them so much, but most don't have a particular significance.
Specific mentions:
Swan feather quill pen - Season 14, episode 8 - The Dominion of New South Mimico. This actually represents a pencil with a feather on it. Llewellyn finds a feather that ends up being from a goose that belonged to the victim. Somehow the feather gets stuck to Llewellyn's pencil and it is shown when he is writing in his notebook while questioning a suspect.
Crumpled paper - general. This represents 2 things; 1) Llewellyn's notepad (until I am able to find an item that looks more like it), which is rather messy and the paper is kind of crumpled, and 2) actual pieces of paper that Llewellyn writes on when he doesn't have his notebook. These papers get crumpled up in his pocket, or end up on the floor after Llewellyn has memorised the information.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Category 4: Clothes and accessories that are worn, or could be worn, by Llewellyn.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Category 5: Items like ones seen in episodes, but they don't fit into a specific category.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Category 6: Items not like ones seen in episodes, but I still associate them with Llewellyn - I'm mentioning all items because there are only four.

I Love Reading! Sticker - So of course I have this because Llewellyn loves reading. He prefers non fiction, but has been known to enjoy some fiction as well.

Pride T-shirt - Llewellyn has struggled with his identity, and because of the times he is in, often has to be wary of talking about his orientation. However, he has shown many times that he is proud of who he is, and will say when it is the right time, especially to help and support others.

Rainbow Star Stickers - Llewellyn is a star, not like a movie star, or famous person, but in how he shines so brightly because he is such a good person. The rainbow colours are a reference to LGBTQIA+ way with Llewellyn, but also represent how unique Llewellyn is, in the ways he thinks and acts.

You Make the World Brighter Sticker - Indeed Llewellyn does, as I mentioned. He makes mistakes, and isn't always good with social interactions (relatable), but he shows kindness by asking others what's going on when they seem upset, not judging, making others who are seen as different feel welcome, always ultimately helping in whatever way he is able, etc. Llewellyn is just amazing.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Spruce is my main pet because I love turtles. I changed him to blacklight to represent me and Llewellyn being LGBTQIA+, and I like the dark on the top.
Spruce is not a direct reference to Llewellyn, but is a reference to an episode with Llewellyn, season 15, episode 5 - Love or Money.
There is a ruse to catch a suspect, where the team knows a man wants to get a necklace owned by George's Aunt, Zinnia. As such, she is waiting at a bar to "accidentally" leave the necklace on the counter and then walk away, while George and William wait at a table farther away. While waiting, George asks William what he would like to drink, so as to seem less suspicious. William says to the waiter, "Two spruce beers, please." To which George replies, "Spruce beer, it's an acquired taste, I suppose." The team goes to wait for the suspect at the bank because they believe he will put the necklace in a safety deposit box, and it will be easier to catch him there. In this part, Llewellyn poses as the bank teller. This is all presented in a very amusing way, and of course the suspect is caught.
Sourdough is a reference to Llewellyn in season 16, episode 6 - Clean Hands.
Llewellyn is working as a baker at a Mennonite colony. He talks about and is shown proofing sourdough bread. Sourdough the Cronk is rather round, and a bit lumpy, like Sourdough bread. Clean Hands is a more serious episode (the b story for Love or Money is more serious, but the a story (part Llewellyn is in) is definitely more humourous), so there is also a balance.
