For a reason unknown, both the warlords and the king respected her. But like any court, attentions shifted quickly and Esci's past remained a mystery to the general public.
As for Esci, she would wander the halls, amusing herself at the expense of others. She claims the top of the northwest tower as her home but no maid or personnel has ever been allowed in, not even Fhawei whom she serves as the Advisory Guard.
