Growing up, Heydin seemed to be a child of many talents. He could draw, he could tinker, and he genuinely enjoyed trying everything once. His parents were happy to support him throughout his various endeavours, and so Heydin enjoyed a wonderful childhood. In high school, he wasn't popular nor bullied. He did his best to be friends with everyone, which was easily helped by his choice in classes. Technology, theatre, shop classes, he took all of them.

It seemed the tinkering is what stuck at first, as fresh out of high school, he went into schooling for working on vehicles. After finishing a year of that, his aching muscles seemed to pull him along to massage therapy. Again, after a year, his attention switched, this time to something he had enjoyed all of his life; art.

Not long after enrolling, Heydin met a man and the two fell deeply in love. It wasn't too far after that that they had plans to wed. Heydin thought he had it all. He was going to school, and was going to be with someone he loved dearly. The other, however, apparently got cold feet, and Heydin was left at the altar without a word from him.

The once promising artist fell deeply into depression. He had no explanation, and no understanding as to what happened - all he did understand was all he thought he had was obviously nothing at all. As a result, his art and studying suffered and he very nearly dropped out of college altogether. Knowing he wouldn't be able to pass his courses to the best of his abilities, he spoke with his professors, explaining his situation and - with the suggestion of one in particular - worked out a part time schedule for two extra years. With the extra time for himself, Heydin has slowly been able to come back from his depression. He wouldn't consider himself completely better yet, but with the help of friends, he's made progress.

With all of his time off, Heydin spent some time out at night, traveling through the various clubs. He had met plenty of people, but it was Millian who seemed to stick to him. The man seemed more interested in flirting with him at first, but whe Heydin seemed a little hesitant to fall for it, the two instead decided to meet outside of the club, during the day. Heydin quickly learned that Millian put up a front to those he met, but was quite friendly and polite beneath it. It was some of Millian's more comical expressions that brought Heydin to laugh again for the first time in months, and because of this, Heydin's been quite thankful to the man.

The two have known each other for nearly a year now, and it was with Heydin that Millian planned to open a salon, and so with his free time, Heydin took courses in hairstyling and cutting. With an artist's eye, it wasn't too difficult to pick up on styling, and with Millian so close, he always had a live model to work with. The salon itself hasn't been open for very long, but Heydin coaxed in a student from the college named Chrystian, who joined them as a colourist.

The trio have easily settled into a comfortable friendship, with Heydin often acting as the voice of reason and maturity. Things aren't perfect yet, but they're getting there.
