Velyn isn't playful like most Ontras; in fact, she loves battling. When she isn't battling or training she can be found reading a book or writing in her journals. She enjoys reading sci fi and fantasy, and knows just about all there is to know about Subeta pop culture. It makes her a perfect fit for her job at the Trading Card Center. She wasn't always an Ontra, which may account somewhat for her serious demeanor. It's also the reason she becomes suddenly kittenlike and goofy when around shiny, round objects.
