The young Lain can usually be found on the beach, surrounded by her various coloured sands and sandcastles. Her puffy hat sitting on her head and her sunglasses in place, she doesn't seem to notice as the time passes by.

"If I put this here and that there..."

Fussing over another sandcastle, she doesn't seem to notice the sun is setting until the castle is perfect, long after the sun has set. Her companion, Crystal, always stays with her, bringing shells, gems and other things she finds lying around on the beach.

After she has deemed her castle perfect, she and Crystal head for home to sleep and check over their various bits and pieces in their treasure pile. They both like to hoard any items that are rainbow coloured and the collection grows a little every day.
