The lizards - that no one was supposed to know about - have escaped their tanks. Be wary of those little monsters! If you spot one on the testing floor, do not attempt to capture it. Those suckers may look adorable, but they can fire portals right out of their mouths! Instead, hastily press the “ESCAPED SPECIMEN” button that is conveniently located at the entrance of all even numbered test chambers, and one of the lab boys will be there in a jiffy.

Listen, I know what you’re thinking, “But Cave! Why are there lizards here in the first place?” And I have a very good explanation for that… they're here for science. Just like you! And they're not getting paid. Just like you! Seems like you all have a lot in common.

Despite your similarities, though, they do not want to be your friend. So really do mind those pesky portal-shooting, test-interrupting, data-nullifying, two-headed lizards, folks.
