The darkness, it pervades everything. From the smallest nook to the open field, darkness, is king. That is, until a tiny flicker begins to glow. As the night passes, this spark increases. It goes from a match sized spark, to setting the entire corner of the cemetery alight. It moves, the glow does, from grave to grave, before hovering at a dusty mausoleum. At last the darkness is dispatched entirely, as a breeze rushes away the clouds. The moon bathes the world in silver. Silver, except for that single orb of orange. A low howl whispers across the cemetery, before being carried away with the wind. Another night in the cemetery, another night spent searching. It haunts these grounds, a ghostly dog seeking its master. It will not pass on, until it finds the one who once loved it.
So it wanders, an amber glow, fading in and out of vision. Seeking a headstone it could not read, and a scent it could not catch.

Special Features: If angered it can summon fire at will, the flames shifting between solid and transparent. The thicker the color, the hotter the flames burn.

General Description: The appearance of this haunt varies depending on the time of day. During sunlight it can scarcely be seen at all. As darkness grows however, it will fade in and out of view like a specter. At last during night, it grows in the darkness from a tiny matchstick flame, to a large glow of orange. Only upon being in the immediate vicinity of the creature can one see the ghostly form of an orange kumos. The ghost dog is thin as a rail, ribs seen beneath its amber coat and eyes glowing a bright citrine. Its gender is unable to be determined.

General Description: A lonesome, silent beast. Hawthorne haunts resident cemeteries. unable to leave such locations, few encounter long enough to understand it. Hawthorn is forever searching, lingering in places of the dead until it can find what it desperately seeks. It is a spirit unable to pass on.

History
Personal: No one knows the origin of the hound, only that it has haunted one cemetery in particular for many years. Hawthorn does not even remember its past, not if it was once male or female, or even a kumos. It knows it was a dog, that its master has passed on, and that it cannot find them. Hawthorn does not even recall its master, only the love. Now the ghost dog searches on, seeking the name on a headstone that strikes familiarity. Always trying to catch the scent of its master, it does not realize that in death, it cannot. Will it ever find its beloved master its other half? Or will the spirit's loyalty force it to wander this realm, forever?
