It was terribly dark out, for starters. You were on your drive home from another exhausting day of work, struggling to keep your focus on the empty roads, trying not to think of everyone else fast asleep at such a late hour. Just as your eyelids began to feel their heaviest, something caught your eye. Movement, off to the side of the road, briefly caught in your headlights.
