Background:
Yana is an entity hundreds of years old. For years she inhabited a large peninsula. She kept the growth thriving and became the local goddess of nature.

But civilization started to spread. Soon kingdoms sprouted and territorial wars clashed all around. The peaceful villages in her forests were invaded and she could do little to stop the advance of metal and magic. The filthy humans trampled her land and butchered her precious critters.

Brimming with vengeful hate, she dove into the land and found powerful artifacts aplenty. With some tinkering by wind and water sprites, Yana set her revenge in motion.

Within hours, she broke off from the mainland and plunged her home into the ocean. She began a week long trek into the abyss until there wasn't even a speck of land in sight. Only then did she raise her sodden island into the air. After skimming through her land, she was satisfied at the lack of intellectual life.

She spent the next two centuries rearranging her land, centering her favorite banyan in the middle. But after a few decades, Yana found herself rather bored. Though humans were prone to fits of madness and greed, they were the only capricious beings that she knew. With that in mind, she drifted towards land.

Within a century, civilization found it's way onto her island. They struck their flag in her land with such pride that one would think they reached the moon or something. And so they started the empire of Daei.

She made herself known of course. No longer would she stand hidden. She was to be given access to everything or she would kick them off in a heartbeat.And so, Yana once again found herself enjoying the roller coaster that is human society.
