New Idea: (Under Construction)
-----So far, Seton will most probably become some sort of traveler/adventurer. I've always wanted to do a pet like this, with actual survival guidelines and Subeta-like stuff.

-----A very curious Celinox skilled with experience and fueled by wanderlust and wonder for the world around him.

Old Idea:
-----The student was always tapping his pencil on his desk, with his Corgi, Murphy, peacefully sleeping on his lap. Seton would take out his journal, an old, brown, velvety journal, and he would always mutter to himself, thinking about the day’s events. He would occasionally brush his hand through his thick, messy brown hair or fix his glasses so his sea green eyes could see better, as if he was deep in thought. After a while, he would scribble all of it down furiously, as if he was trying not to miss any details.

-----This had become their routine – Seton’s and Muphy’s, and the student would always spend hours writing. His parents always assumed that it was because he had found a way to vent out his feelings from school and his life with writing, but it was because Seton had found a way to revisit his past – literally.

-----The student was having trouble restraining his Corgi from going towards the road to chase some cars one day when he noticed the man just before he left. He had on some shades that complemented his ebony coat. He already boarded the bus that stopped by when Seton noticed the brown velvet journal that the mysterious man had accidentally left. Half-dragging and half-pulling Murphy, the student reached down for the journal and took it home with him.

-----When Seton opened it, he expected to find some notes or blueprints, probably the normal things a man like what he just saw would write. Instead, he found…nothing. This relieved Seton. At least he wouldn’t feel guilty taking some man’s notebook home. Since it was empty, he decided to write on it, starting with his name, and he was surprised when a whole sentence materialized out from the very page of the journal. It said, Hello, Seton. How are you? It left Seton at a loss for words to write, but eventually he started a very casual conversation with the journal.

-----When Seton asked the journal what it does, it responded with, I simply allow you to revisit specific times in your past, and this immediately piqued the student’s interest. He immediately asked the journal what he had to do, which was to write as much as he could remember from the memory and simply ask to be transported to that time whenever he wanted to. Seton had tried it once, by writing about how he first acquired the journal, and sure enough, he saw the event replay through his eyes, as if he were in that very moment.

-----Whenever he would ask the journal to let him revisit a memory from the past, a feeling of nostalgia would overcome him, and he would just watch. He couldn’t control himself because his memory already happened, but reminiscing those events calmed him, especially the ones where he was so young and innocent. It felt like an escape from the world’s problems, which, to him, consisted mainly of school, maintaining his grades (which is also related to school), and properly training Murphy to act like a proper Corgi. Perhaps he would lose the journal like the man carelessly did, so Seton had chosen to keep it from his family and friends. Now, he keeps it in his desk drawer, with a lock tied around it to keep it away from snoops. He keeps the lock around Murphy’s collar, which, Seton thought, was pretty smart of him to do so. Almost nobody suspects a key to be with a dog.

-----Up until now, Seton still writes on his journal, and he has even started to become acquaintances with the journal. He was fairly certain that it wasn’t the man’s fault when he “accidentally” forgot his notebook. Maybe the journal would suddenly disappear right under his nose the moment it feels like it doesn’t need him anymore. He would probably lose the journal someday, too, “accidentally”, but right now, he would take advantage of its nostalgic abilities and enjoy it while he can.

Human Appearance;
-----Seton has thick, shaggy brown hair, and he wears thin black glasses which cover his green, emerald eyes. His usual outfit is a checkered green button-down shirt covered by a brown vest. His pants are colored a lighter shade of green than his shirt, and his shoes are the same hue as his eyes. A brown messenger bag is often slung across his shoulder, where he keeps random knick-knacks. He is often seen writing on his journal with a pencil, with his loyal Corgi, Murphy, sleeping on his lap.
