She wears goggles instead of a mask.
Upon first meeting Victoria, you might think her a little bit withdrawn, but not unfriendly. She has learned to guard herself against pain and she does not trust easily, though it does not make her unkind. She can be selfish because she knows that people take advantage of generosity, among other things. She never accepts help from someone if she thinks she can help it, and is as stubborn as a donkey.
When you break through her exterior (a thing very few people have managed to do in her life), you will find a rather insecure girl. She doesn’t know what she wants or what she believes, though she tries her best to be optimistic. When she is in a good mood, she is quirky and bubbly, but never extremely affectionate. She isn’t really sure how to be intimate with people. It is rather difficult to guess it, but she is struggling a bit with the concepts of good and evil and which side she wants to be on, but for now she figures she owes it to her mentor to be on his side.
She doesn’t really know who her family is or where she got her powers. She was dropped at a hospital when she was about one year old, and from there she was put into foster care. She went from house to house, as her abilities (unknown to her) caused accidents and odd occurrences. Her foster parents couldn’t handle it, but she had to go somewhere. Eventually she was taken in by a former superhero who recognized her abilities and told her about them. He tried to teach her, but it was difficult and she was rather resistant – not to learn, but to accept help. He was quite old, but he cared for her until she turned 16. When he died, she refused to go back into the system, instead going to his former headquarters, which he had mentioned to her several times before he died. Now she works at a CD/record store and lives in the hero headquarters.
Power/Skill: Energy manipulation/conversion – she has the ability to convert and control energy in nearly all its forms, but her ability is incredibly limited. She has very little training or control, and often her powers get away from her. She could be extremely powerful if she could get a handle on her abilities. Among other things, she has the potential to turn light into heat, to create energy blasts of unknown size and power, to turn potential energy in the air and in objects into a protective field. The problem is that she knows how to do very little of this and she can do much more damage than good when she uses powers she had little or no control over.
She works at a CD store, knows no form of combat, armed or otherwise, and has a fascination with Victorian culture.
