Backgorund: She lost her parents in the Polar Ice Field. A very old man found her crying in the snow. He took her back to the Artic Frost orphanage, where she met Xavis. She loved his personality and became really close to him. They were the closest of freinds.

Blade Maiden was a sweet young girl. Though her fate of living a normal life wasn't what was meant for her. At the age of five, she lost her parents in the Polar Ice Field. The cold, harsh winds ripped their lives away from her. She laid their in the snow crying. She was barely living when a really old, yet wise man found her. He owned an orphanage, in which became Blade's new home. That very place is where she met her best friend Xavis. Their personalities clicked in an instant. They were now inseparable. Though that would change. Blade had heard of a beautifal maiden that lurked in the waters of Omen Islands. She wanted to see if this maiden was a myth or if there is such a beauty, land dwellers have claimed, that this maiden held.....

"She is not real!!" Xavis exclaimed. "You don't know that!" she said. Xavis sighed and said, ".......She is just a myth". Blade shook her head, wanting to ignore Xavis's words. "I want to see her for myself" she started, "I want to see if there is true beauty......I want to believe in beauty again....". Xavis nuzzled her cheek where a stray tear had been, wiping it away. He knew she was talking about her last heartbreak.

"Well...." he started talking softly, then went silent."......Don't forget about me. You know how upset I'd be". She smiled and kissed his nose. "You know I could never forget you.......And I thought you would come with me".

He shook his head, pulling her close. "You know I can't keave the kids at the orphanage" he smiled, "And you know they will miss you. We were like their parents". Blade's eyes started to water up. She forgot about the kids for a moment there. She loved them with all her heart. But she wanted to take this journey. She looked up at Xavis. "Will you please tell them bye for me and that I won't be gone for long". He nodded letting me go.

"You better be going" he said, "The ship will be setting off soon". She kissed his cheek and ran off, waving bye.
