Bleed{n.} to lose blood from the vascular system either internally into the body or externally
It is no surprise to those who encounter the creature that her name is Bleed - it's somewhere between the blood coming in steady streams from her eyes, or her mouth. Or maybe, perhaps, even the way blood pools and her paws squelch with every step they take, leaving bloody pawprints as the red liquid seeps from the pores. The moniker is well fitting and she possesses no shame of it - despite the fact that it's often not socially acceptable to drench every area you stand in rather slimy blood.
The blood which seeps from her pores is not the same blood as other pets or even humans have in excess - well, in a way it is. It's got the same color, smell, taste, but not a particular consistency. When it is running down her flesh, from her eyes, mouth, or out of the pores in her paws, it's exactly the same as any other person's blood - watery. Bleed's blood is of a thicker consistency when it leaves her flesh - it is unsure what has affected her genetic makeup to bring forth this change, but she takes advantage of it.
Bleed's blood, as it is thicker, and thus less drippy, is easier to write with - this is her main source of communication since she is partially mute. It would be hard for you to talk to, with blood pouring from your throat, now wouldn't it? Those cryptic messages you see on the walls, written in blood, that scare any god fearing soul - probably the property of Bleed.
