A small Tigrean cub was huddled in a small ball watching the scene before him in horror. His mother, a large inky black figure stood before him, roaring at the people. She turned to Geranimo and kissed his head one last time before she pounced on the group of men with torches and assorted weapons and nets.

Geranimo watched in silent horror as a net enclosed around his mother and she was dragged away, being beaten each time she tried to fight back. Tears filled the small cub's eyes as a large burly man grabbed him by the scruff of his neck and tossed him into the enclosed back of a large black pickup truck.

Geranimo cried softly as he watched the jungle, his once peaceful and quiet home, grow smaller and smaller as the truck drove down the dirt road, stirring up dirt and rocks that clinked against the truck and a few hit Geranimo. He curled up in a small tight ball and tried to sleep, for he knew the trip ahead of him was going to be a long one....The question deep in his mind was....Would he ever see his mother again?

The cub woke up the next morning to the sounds of shouting and pure chaos. He opened his eyes slowly and looked around. He was in a small metal cage. Everywhere he looked he saw assorted sizes of cages, each filled with a different kind of animal. He looked at a large poster on one of the cages and tried to make out the words "Gino's Circus of Wonders" is what he made out after staring at it for a while.

Geranimo watched all the people mill about, getting prepared for the great show that was coming up in a few minutes. The moon shone brightly into his cage and he sighed softly. "Mami, a donde estas?" He whispered softly and paced about his small cage. Suddenly a girl in a long black cloak was standing before him. She opened his cage and took him out carefully. "Come on little guy" She whispered to him and walked towards a large green and blue striped tent. "It's time for your first show!"

Geranimo was shoved out into a brightly lit round dirt arena. Adults and children watched from the packed bleachers, staring down at him waiting for his performance. Suddenly three clowns came running out, honking horns and laughing. They poked at Geranimo and continued their obnoxious laughter. Their cruel "game" continued on for another ten minutes, all the while the poor cub was running trying to escape from the loud noises and cruel laughter, but to no avail. He was forced to jump through hoops and wear a tutu and all kinds of cruel things to appease the large crowd.

This continued on for a few years and Geranimo soon caught on to it. He learned that if he did what they wanted he wouldn't get hurt and things would go faster. But one night as Geranimo was out doing his usual routine, jumping through hoops and wearing his little costume something in him snapped. He roared suddenly and attacked one of the clowns. Everyone was shocked at his sudden behavior, even himself! But Geranimo couldn't control himself, he bit the Clown's arm and then as a large man came to drag him off the clown he made his great escape, by running through his legs and out the open flap of the tent. He ran until his little legs ached and he couldn't run any further, hoping they'd give up the chase. He collapsed near a river, panting and gasping.

He heard a twig snap behind him and his ears perked up, but he was too tired to move. He knew it must be one of the Circus workers to take him back. He waited patiently to feel himself being dragged back but when nothing happened he turned his head slightly to see a small girl in a black hoodie, watching him. She took a few steps forward and knealed down next to him. "You poor thing!" She said softly and began wiping away the clown makeup he was wearing.

Geranimo's large body twitched at her touch but he made no effort to stop her. He looked into her kind eyes and knew that from then on he had to stay with her and protect that girl. No matter what.

Geranimo is 18, quiet, angry and doesn't talk to people. He gets into violent mood swings and has been known to attack people for no reason. Usually he stays as far away from people as possible but if anyone does anything to his family or a friend he will attack them...So beware....

Translated version:Wow...I've never met a girl quite like Anaria...She's pretty, smart, funny.....But who am I to think she'd be interested? She already seems to be taken....Yet I can't deny what I feel! She's the first girl to look at me like....She might be interested. No! That's stupid...Why should she be interested in me? Ugh, this is going nowhere.....I can't help what I feel but I doubt she'd be interested...So why bother?
