Aelion, also known as Lion, is a particularly interesting nine-year-old Jollin. Unlike his peers, who are quite mature for their age, as this is how most Jollins in this generation are, Lion is more childish, and tends to be quite mischievous. Now, he wasn't always this way. A year ago, on his eighth birthday, Lion ventured outdoors, seeking the warmth of the sun and the smell of the spring grass. By chance, he wandered into a secret meadow, enclosed by magical trees and had flowers of all kind, perfuming the air with their delicate, but pungent smells. It was here that Lion was struck by an enchanted rainbow, well, viciously attacked is probably more accurate, and was completely knocked out. When he regained consciousness, he opened his eyes to a whole new world.
Life before the rainbow incident was dreary and dull, nothing could compare to the fascinating vivid world Lion saw now. When in class, he would ask numerous questions, effectively tiring out his teacher and frustrating his peers. Unlike his classmates, who took everything as it was and never bothered to ask questions about anything, Lion questioned every possible aspect on the current subject. He was fascinated by how things worked, and would tirelessly ask questions on a single detail for hours if the teacher would allow him to. Outside the classroom, Lion was just as energetic. Outdoors during recess he would explore every inch of the playground and inspect every rock, tree, insect, flower, and leaf to oblivion. Lion was, in a way, the most curious Jollin in the world.
One day, while Lion was further exploring the forest, he found himself trapped in the secret meadow with no obvious way out. After hours of mindlessly trying to escape, he finally gave up and went to sleep, hoping that it was all a dream. Time passed, and he eventually woke. Cold and hungry, Lion wished that he had some food and a blanket. A few seconds later, he saw a bright light, and a lovely Jollin stepped out from it.
Her name was Evelyn and she came from a world populated of Jollins who were just like him. She told him that he was one of the chosen ones, lured to this secret meadow and struck by the magic of the enchanted rainbow. The fact that he was able to enter this meadow again was a sign that he was truly one of them. Lion, intrigued by the idea of a parallel universe to the one he was in now, asked many questions, all of which she answered to the fullest extent possible. Excited by the fact that there were more of him, Lion eagerly accepted Evelyn's invitation to her world, and thus a new life for him began.
