Heart Broken

Love is an amazing magical thing. One some may never understand. Questioning the power of love, is questioning your own faith.

Once upon a time Rotary was a beautiful women with an equally as perfect girlfriend. Together the two of them shared a bond I still can not fathom. Their bond of course was forbidden, given the time, but love does amazing things to people. Sneaking out nightly for their misdaminors. For sometime it worked. Yacht and Rotary were very much a merry couple.

One terrible night, they'd been caught. Unable to understand the affection between two women the man that caught them, pulled a gun and shot Rotary through the very heart that brought the defiant love. With fear and panic Yacht took hold of her dying love and ran to the nearest doctor. Begging him to save Rotary.

While traverised in the field of medicine he stayed true to his true love, New industrial machines. With his extensive intelligence and experience, he offered his serves. This included a new machine that could be used as Rotary's body, reminding Yacht that without a new body, Rotary would die.

With much work and progress the doctor salvaged the remains of Rotary and rebuilt her into the shell of the machine. Transferring each of her vital organs, along with her brain. In quick time he even created a circulatory system for her. Unfortunitly her fading heart was beyond repair and she'd require a transplant to survive. After little thought, and an already breaking heart Yacht told him to take hers. She told him she'd do anything to save Rotary.

With her last breathes Yacht muttered a love poem, that I dare not repeat. With Yachts sacrifice, Rotarys life was saved. When she awoke a smile came across her face, for her love was by her side, waiting for her to awaken. However, Rotary soon learned that her love had fallen into a sleep at which she'd never awake. That was the last emotion Rotary ever felt. For the rest of everything, the reformed half human half machine body of Rotary lived with the heart of Yacht. Broken and emotionless, she remained alone.

Love really is an amazing magical thing, but without it..What are we?A machine with mockup orgins and mechincal flesh?

Amongst the vending machines and year-old magazines in a place where we only say goodbye
It stung like a violent wind that our memories depend on a faulty camera in our minds
But I knew that you were a truth I would rather lose than to have never lain beside at all
And I looked around at all the eyes on the ground as the TV entertained itself

'Cause there's no comfort in the waiting room
Just nervous pacers bracing for bad news
And then the nurse comes round and everyone will lift their heads
But I'm thinking of what Sarah said that "Love is watching someone die"

So who's going to watch you die?..
