High in the mountains, a furious blizzard blows. As you try to climb your way up, the conditions become so harsh you wonder if there is any way you can find shelter before it become impossible to navigate, or you freeze to death. As if out of nowhere, a small cabin appears, and you trudge your way towards it, hoping that whoever owns it is nice. Before you can even knock the door, it opens and reveals a beautiful woman wearing a white sweater and light blue pants. "Welcome, stranger", she says. "Enter and warm yourself by the fire. You are welcome to stay until the blizzard lets up." You cannot believe your luck. Immediately, you run inside and huddle as close to her fireplace as you can, warming yourself up as she giggles at your enthusiasm. She closes the door and joins you and she introduces herself. She is called Auressa, and she lives on this mountain. She explains that she loves the snow-covered countryside. You agree with her, saying you love the way the snow sparkles and how smoothly it rolls in small mounds over the ground. She smiles at you, and you notice a multicolored glow in her eyes. You also notice a snowflake shaped pendant around her neck, and you ask her where she got it. She says she made it, and it is her most precious possession. You warm up to this woman so much that you begin explaining why you are so far up in the mountains. You are here seeking the fabled "Queen of the Mountain", a powerful being said to bring the furious blizzards to this mountain. No one has ever found out if the legends are true, and few have survived to tell the tale. Auressa replies that no one lives on the mountain but her and her pet dragon hatchling, Cryos. Just then, the small winged lizard makes himself known by sniffing at you. It's breath feels just like putting an ice cube against your skin. The woman giggles again and tells you he's harmless, and he seems to like you. After a night's stay at the cabin, you find that the blizzard is over, and everything is totally quiet atop the mountain. You decide it is time to continue your quest for the Queen, and Auressa bids you luck as she and her hatchling wave goodbye. A few moments after you leave the cabin, you see a large white figure speed across the sky, propelled by great bat-like wings. It is a dragon, and as it flies by, you notice it leaves a sparkling trail in its wake. It highlights the bright new snow covering the mountain, and you realize that this is the great Queen you were searching for, and cannot help but marvel at this magnificent beast. Then, you notice a smaller dragon following it and your jaw drops as you recognize it as Cryos, the same dragon that was with Auressa. In your moment of disbelief, the larger dragon pauses and sees you standing there. She winks and continues on her way, disappearing to the other side of the mountain. No one will ever believe your story, but you actually got to meet the fabled Queen of the Mountain, and she was greater than the tales had described her.
