The motherly figure in the family, Manders takes it upon herself to keep everyone in line. While she's generally calm and peaceful, she is passive-aggressive and prone to snapping without warning. These explosions, while few and far between, have taught the family to stay on her good side.

She is also very intolerant of any differences in others and refuses to let Axel and Geo play with pets who have views different from hers...or who could be a dangerous influence. This includes Namiko, who Manders openly ignores and neglects. She has made it clear many times that she wants Namiko out, and only Athear has kept her from driving the mutant away.,
