After leaving the 5th gate, you find yourself plummeting toward the ground. Your life flashes before you and you think about all your sins, and every happiness you ever felt. You mumble quietly to yourself praying to a god you've already discovered doesn't exist. There is no life, no savior, no serenity. As you've already learned, there's only darkness and misery in this dimension.
The longer you fall the more you observe your surroundings. The sky around you is pitch black, there is no moon, nor ground below. You start to question whether or not you are alive or even exist.
'S-sacrifice', You hear from behind you, and suddenly you realize you weren't ever falling at all. You wince in pain as you notice a mortal wound just above your wrist, it bleeds profusly however the blood is no longer red. The more you bleed the more the spectrum of colours change until the fluid itself turns into a light blue mist. You hear a shallow laughter from behind you. The voice so demented you'd think you were hearing Medusa herself.
'You S-stumbled upon my hum-mble s-sanctum', The voice speaks as a snake like creature appears into your vision. This creature is an amazingly gruesome sight. The features, a gray snaking body and metallic wings complimented by purple horns and four eyes, concluding with two mouths and a disgusting slick tongue. The mouth spews out a blue venomous mist much like what the fluid from your arm turned into. Attempting to run proves easier said then done. During such time that you inspected the creature, Paralysis has taken over your body. As the creature comes closer you begin to hear a static noise.
With the last muscle you can move for yourself, you close your eyes. Embracing death you think once more to where this all began.
Silence overcomes every sense, but after that you feel nothing. The nothingness lasts for so long you've lost your sense of time and space.
Eventually that static noise is the only thing you can hear. By pure curiosity you open your eyes. you are no longer in the same spot.
You are glued to a old polyester recliner that you can't move from. Before you sits one of those box televisions your grandparents used to have. The TV is static.
Slowly all your senses return and you move yourself from the recliner. In anger you kick the TV. Sparks and glass fly everywhere, cutting your entire body. You hear a distant snakish laughter, a hiss accompanied every breath. As you bleed, your blood again turns into that mist, but instead of it dripping it merely fades away. Slowly your body starts to fade. You can see yourself phasing out in the reflection of the sheered glass below.
Before you stands two doors. As your body fades you make a quick decision to jump towards the door. The last bit of your body makes it through and you are again reformed and mostly alive.
