Greetings from the Pond: Well hello there! The name's Koi Pond or Koi for short. I own this here bucket of fish. I just ask that you pay a small fee to play with the fish. Now while you're visiting I have a few rules for the pond. Follow them and you can come back here and visit my fish anytime. Break any of them and I can never let you near my fish again! Now that we're clear on this let me tell you the rules.________________________ Rules of the Pond: - No Splashing! It upsets the fish. - No Eating the Fish! I wouldn't advise even Licking my fish. - Never go near Toku! Trust me on this one. - Don't make me make more rules! cause I hate to do it. - Have fun! ________________________The Story of The Pond: Actually I wouldn't really call this a story. This would be more like a dream come true to him. Koi has always wanted to be a fish but being born a jollin doesn't give you the features you need to live in water. Most days Koi spends his time outside in any place with enough water to swim in. These outings usually turn into disaster. Everyone who has enough sense knows to run when he's spotted jumping into the water. Those who don't run quickly learn to get out of the water. Koi is very famous for his "Piranha" instincts. Even though his actions have left him with hardly any friends he doesn't seem to mind. When asked about it he always responds "I have friends they're just never able to come onto land." ________________________For many years everyone has tried to find this "pesky" critter a pond of his own. That way everyone could go swimming with out the worry of being "hunted" by Koi. One day they got their wish. Koi found a small pond near the Glade. Inside the pond he found many Koi fish. Amazed at there beauty he dove right in. As he swam around he noticed a Koi that was unlike all the rest. It was Toku. Astonished by the Koi's uniqueness he swam up to it. When he reached to the fish he was stunned. He suddenly had an urge to eat the fish. In all his life he never had wanted to do such a thing. Slowly he reached out for the fish and licked it. To his suprise he was able to breath under water! He was amazed at what the fish had done to him! After spending his whole day in that pond he decided it was time to head back home. When he got out he decided to look back at the fish one last time. He looked at the water puzzled. Staring back at him was a Koi marked jollin. Koi knew that his markings didn't look like that. He left without any concern. ________________________When he got back home his family looked at him with terror! His family proceeded to ask him questions about his where abouts that day through the night. In his confusion as to why they where questioning him he looked back at his tail. "Wait a minute" he said "that can't be my tail, why it has the markings of those Koi fish!" Instead of being frighten by his new markings he was overjoyed! He couldn't wait till morning to show everyone his new markings!________________________The next day after Koi had shown everyone his new markings they came to the conclusion that he should guard the pond that he found. Koi accepted without any hesitation. He dashed to his pond to his new "friends" the good news. To this day Koi Pond stays at the pond at all times. He at first never let anyone near the pond but as of lately he has opened the pond up to the public for a small fee. He also has rules in regarding to the pond. The one rule he streases that everyone follow is that you don't lick Toku. Koi has discovered that while Toku is a magical Koi with powers to grant ones hearts desire that it isn't always wise to "lick" him. Now is the end of our little story.
