[quote="]Pseudotumor cerebri is a disorder related to high pressure in the brain. It causes signs and symptoms of a brain tumor. The term “pseudo” means false. Pseudotumor cerebri is also called intracranial hypertension or benign intracranial hypertension.

The fluid that surrounds the spinal cord and brain is called cerebrospinal fluid or CSF. If too much fluid is produced or not enough is re-absorbed, the CSF can build up. This can cause symptoms like those of a brain tumor.
Don't be fooled, just because it's "pseudo" doesn't mean the symptoms are any less real or that the treatments aren't just as harsh and damaging to the body. Chronic pain and vision loss is fairly common and can worsen with treatment before/if it gets better. Treatment can also lead to various other medical issues which may become life threatening in some cases. Many prefer to call it Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIH) since that name is more clinically specific. It is idiopathic when there is no known cause for the increased CSF build up around the brain such as head injury or other known medical causes for the change. It can be very difficult and take years for many patients suffering to find relief because it is so hard to pin point the treatment that will work for each individual.

"Your friend Virus has given you the pet Neurological!"
Something very amusing about this xD I actually name swapped so this isn't actually the pet that was given but I'm glad I got the name ^_^

Also, my petID# is a palindrome. :)
