How to Melt a Frozen Heart

Technology is a cherry, a Cherry Blob I guess. How was he made? Well, it involved quite a mess.

He wasn't always what you see here, neither Blob nor Cherry - let's make that clear.
A Glacier Sheeta, with a heart as cold as ice. He wasn't kind, caring, loving or nice.
What happened to him may involve things you've never seen, turning something cold and solid to a goop bright red and green!

The story begins in a far away land, a place with creatures so bold and grand.
I would say so, maybe you wouldn't agree. Euclid would let you scoop one up, for a fee.
That something is a Blob, with eyes big and round. It bubbles and boils, and it sticks to the ground.

They feel quite hot, and smell kind of strange. They cost 300,000 sP, if that's in your range.
I went there one day, not looking for much. A hand (made of goo) reached out for a touch.
I took a step back, I wasn't so sure. But it looked up at me and it looked so pure.
I smiled and called back for Technology to come see, but he was not there. Not behind me.
I looked down again, and called his name. The blob blinked and stared - they were one in the same!

"Technology, Technology, what happened to you? Did you get sucked in and fall in the goo?"

The Blob didn't respond, I don't think they speak. I paid the man and went home, but later that week...


...I found a trail of red slime across the floor, I searched for the culprit, door by door.
It wasn't hard to know who or where he'd gone, to the top of the house where the sun shone.

I picked up the potion bottle, set it aside. He had been through a lot, I would let it slide.
Once I saw him, I couldn't help but grin. This is surely what you could call a 'win-win'!
Technology was who he wanted to be, I knew this now and now I could see.

The Blob pit in Darkside is where it began, maybe all along that was the plan!
