I was a few months old when a small girl walked into the room my siblings and I were being kept in, it was an old pet store and the room didn't have a door, just piece of plywood keeping us all in. The girl was only about five or six and ran in guns blazing, knocking over the plywood and sending all eight of us into a panic. I was very frightened because recently our mother had gone missing and now this little creature was on all fours chasing us around trying to catch us. At that time I was very young and was unsure if this childbeast was the one who took my mother away, I remember that she got the better of me and I was lifted into the main part of the store. From there a large woman whom the little girl called "Mama" sighed, like this had not been the first time the little girl was being overly hyperactive. Then I had a collar and leash put on me and was lead into a white car. I never saw my siblings or that store again.

My life truly began that day. As it turns out I was a special present for the little girl. The girl, her mother and I lived in a duplex in a small town. I was often tied out in the yard because the fence had proven not to be big enough to keep me out. I didn't complain too much though, the yard was nice albiet a bit small. There was a large sherbet chokecherry tree that encompassed fifty percent of the yard, and in the farthest corner was an old tire that had strawberry plants in it. I remember once or twice I got in trouble for eating the plants. I regret nothing, they were delicious. While we lived there we'd visit someone called Grandma, she lived on a big beautiful farm and I got to run everywhere. There was a little beagle living there, her name was Rosie and she was my best dog friend in the whole world. However, she ran me into a fair share of burrs and skunks just for her amusement. I deiced once that she was diabolicle and listening to her was a terrible idea. I also got in trouble with 'Grandpa' for picking on the chickens, he took the chicken I was playing with -which while we were playing had deceased- and smacked me with it. I have no idea why but I never bugged the chickens ever again.

That life lasted until the little girl turned eight or nine years old, we packed up our things and moved on to a small farm outside a different town. I have no idea why, no one tells me anything. The farm had two girl dogs there, one was only a little older than me, her name was Sheba. Sheba was very grumpy, once we got into a fight because she bit my little girl. I was so mad I decided not to associate with Sheba anymore. The other was a very old dog named Ringo, she mostly kept to herself, she was nice to my little girl so I was okay with hanging around her.

Nothing really interesting happened during that time, and it didn't last very long we all packed up and moved to another small town. We stayed there for a long time, my little girl grew up into a young woman. She never ignored me though, I slept on her bed with her every night and we played in the summertime. She brought new friends to meet me all the time and I'd sit beside her when she'd play on her 'playstation' she used to get so mad at the games she wasn't winning at.

Things....started going bad though. I started to get very sick, I got thinner and weaker and was in the worst pain. I didn't show it early on though. I had to be happy and playful with this new puppy my young lady's mother got the two little kids that popped up seemingly out of nowhere. I guess they were Sister and Brother to my young lady, they didn't like to play with me much because I just didn't have the energy anymore. This new puppy was very excitable, the little girl and little boy named her Maggie. Young Lady really liked Maggie too, but I wasn't jealous, I had thirteen of love on that new puppy. Things were okay for a year or so, well not totally okay as I hurt every day but it was managable, but then one day in June I couldn't get up anymore, I hurt so bad. Grandma was visiting the family and she saw how miserable I was, a few days later I just got worse. Grandma took me to a vet and they told her that I was dying of cancer. I had maybe a few months of agony left. Grandma made the hard decision that it would be better if I was put to sleep that day.

It only took a few moments and my pain was gone, however it was dark and I was lonely for a few mintues before a blinding light appeared. I was in a new place, with rolling fields and peaceful streams. There were a bunch of other dogs, it was so nice. I was upset until I learned that I could watch my Young Lady whenever I wanted to. She was very upset that I was gone, she wouldn't speak to Grandma for a month because. Eventually she came around but she misses me every day. I miss her too and I will always lover her forever.
