Rhese is a member of a pack who lives on the border of the city. Their job is to make sure that peace and balance remain between the two worlds (the spirit world and the physical world) by making sure spirits do not get too crazy, and others do not get too brave.
The leader of the pack, Dylan, owns a bar, which is a rather good location since everyone knows that bars encourage chatter about current events, stories, and recent odd things that happen. While Dylan does an all right enough job keeping the blokes at the bar entertained, Rhese is the real information gatherer. He is the one that can get anything out of anybody. And if he can't, Rhese has the ability to follow them with out being seen most of the time, and often will get the information one way or another. Of coarse there are moments that he slips up, but the Irish male often brags on it being a rather rare circumstance that he is actually captured or severely injured.
This is mostly because if he does get injured, he has to deal with Benji, the pack healer. While the two do get along, and Rhese would be damned if anyone hurt him, the two certainly do spar a lot. Despite being the healer, Benji does not always show Rhese the most compassion. It might be because Rhese calls him Bingo, but that could just be a theory. In the end, the only one Rhese can whine to freely is his boyfriend, Pasha.
