Teto is a spirited young Fox-Squirrel.
A small creature that inhabit forests and jungles, rarely seen up close due to their fearful nature. Fox-Squirrels are known for their vicious tendencies toward humans - even the babies are vicious, so don't get your fingers too close! Because of this they are considered impossible to domesticate; but that was not entirely true in Teto's case.
When Teto was just a baby he was snatched out of the trees he called home by a gigantic flying insect. He was to be the insects lunch, but Teto's luck had not yet run out. He was soon rescued by a curious old man - who mistook him for a human baby. The old man was surprised to find that what the insect was carrying was not a human baby after all, but instead a terrified baby Fox-Squirrel! The old man, Yupa, knew the perfect person to take care of Teto, a princess by the name of Nausicaa; A girl with a heart of gold and an incredible connection with all creatures. At first, the terrified Teto was not impressed at her attempts to befriend him, but with understanding and kindness she quickly earned his trust and the two became inseparable.
