In the ruined world, urban legend tells of a man who one day took it upon himself to massacre an entire island. He never left that island, but neither did anyone else.
This legend was in fact very real. A man called Serj Arrington took himself to the labs ran in the more prosperous areas of the land for cash, and was later consumed by something that could only be described as pure bloodlust.
Altan was the bastard child of that man. Where his sister saw a past to avoid and his brother saw something to fear, Altan saw opportunity.
Having been consumed by the bloodlust from a young age, he happily takes over his father's legacy for reasons only clear to him.
No one likes him, and even his kind fears him.
Too bad that won't stop him.
