Astrogation is the planning of a route through space and the actual navigation of spacecraft, either in interplanetary travel or in interstellar travel. The mathematical principles governing interplanetary astrogation were derived by mathematical physicists in the 19th and 20th centuries.

Physical Description
Lillith Banner stands at six feet tall, with pale skin and stress dyed white hair kept short for ease of pulling on and off helmets. Her eyes are a bright emerald green that seem to change hue according to either the light or her mood but behind a reflective visor the effect is Rarely seen. Stocky but not muscular, she has a decent amount of endurance and strength and a steady arm for shooting.
Her choice of armor is a style of powered armour that is not much different from her crew, with only a stripe of white around the top part of her right arm the only indication of her standing. She rarely wears ordinary clothes beside meeting in certian places that such armour is not permitted and then it is generaly trousers and a tank-top with a worn denim jacket.
Mental Description
Lilly puts the needs of her crew before her own. Often than not, she can be heard shouting and putting things right as they blunder or mix something up but generally they are a competent crew. She knows each of her sixty or so men and women by name and none of them have a bad work to say about their captain.
It all changed when they died. An alien parasite managed to get on board, wiping all but lilly and three of her friends. She was caught in the fire and nearly fataly wounded.
