Greetings, I am cosmos galaktikos. I was created in the year 2007 on the seventh day of the fifth month while the magic was strong and the moon was full. Comprised of two parts moondust and starlight and one part galactic mist, I proudly display the markings of golden ribbons pressed to my skin at my birth.

With eyes that shimmer and gleem, I keep focused on the stars that guide my journeys across the vastness of space. Regardless how far my travels may take me I will always be accompanied by my faithful friend asteri the astralflaik. No friend could ever be so dear to me as he, for he entertains me with his many jokes and tricks.

With asteri's help, I have gathered many scrolls and books which i use in the study of the stars and to assist me in mapping the galaxy. When not expanding my mind through study I train in the ancient warrior way so that i will be strong of body as well as mind.

In addition to my celestral studies, I spend a lot of time collecting specimens of the various flora and fauna I have discovered in my travels. I have found all kinds of interesting animals, so be sure to take the time to view a few of them I have on display below.

stars blazed in darkness

One summer night, out on a flat headland, all but surrounded by the waters of the bay, the horizons were remote and distant rims on the edge of space. Millions of stars blazed in darkness, and on the far shore a few lights burned in cottages. Otherwise there was no reminder of

human life. My companion and I were alone with the stars: the misty river of the Milky Way flowing across the sky, the patterns of the constellations standing out bright and clear, a blazing planet low on the horizon. It occurred to me that if this were a sight that could be seen only once in a century, this little headland would be thronged with spectators.

But it can be see many scores of nights in any year, and so the lights burned in the cottages and the inhabitants probably gave not a thought to the beauty overhead; and because they could see it almost any night, perhaps they never will. ~ Rachel Carson
