I am growing so feeble. I hear voices but they are so faint. I wish I could move my head and look to see those sitting around me, but I am too weak. My eyes are too tired to even blink. I wish I could close them but alas I cannot. I cannot do anything at all. I have no sensation in my body, no feeling at all.

Atleast this is better than the pain. Those nerve-wracking spasms, so intense. There were moments when I thought they would never stop. And all along, in my head, I could hear his voice. "Dallie...Dallie" he's chanting to me. Oh if only I could find the source of that beautiful voice. My Kinetik, how I miss you. Where did you go, why did you leave me? I remember your hair, the way it fell on your face, almost hiding the battle scar across your cheek. How I used to stare at you, as you narrated stories from your past. Your smile, gestures, mannerisms.. how I long for them now.

You came like a dream, and disappeared like a nightmare, and here I am, awoken and yearning to be united with you again. I know you are close by, I feel your presence.
Some days my mind drifts away and I see you, so clear, grinning in front of me. "You're almost there" you say.
