Damian is the oldest of his brothers, and for the longest time, the one most feared and loathed, at least by those jaded to Prin's actions. Trauma had left him dangerous, unpredictable, and out to see his family burn, but time seems have healed those wounds to at least some point.
The bigger problem now is the fact he's constantly rotting, a fact that's not helped by the fact he can never really die, something he did himself. He carries this burden quietly, and it's only when he came back to the Overreach after a long while did anyone find out that this was the cost of his redemption.
Really, the only part he regrets of it is how hard it is to stay warm now.
