In the darkest depths of space, in a dimension not quite our own, lies the planet Apokolips! It is a harsh place, cruel; and harshest and cruellest of all is its tyrannical despot, the New God Darkseid!

He rules the planet with an iron fist! His people shake with fear even as they revere him as their god! At his side, enforcing his will, are Darkseid's most loyal generals and minions: the mad scientist, Desaad! The corruptor of children, Granny Goodness! The mind-controlling propagandist, Glorious Godfrey! Darkseid's brutish son, Kalibak! And surrounding him, protecting him, his honour guard: the Female Furies!

He searches the universe for the ultimate weapon, one that will destroy free will forever and enslave all to Darkseid's will: the Anti-Life Equation! With all the powers of an Apokoliptian New God, as well as those granted to him by the Omega Effect, Darkseid comes to our dimension, to our planet, convinced that the Equation can be found in the minds of humanity!

Fortunately for the denizens of Earth, we are protected by valiant heroes -- Superman! Wonder Woman! Batman! Darkseid's own son, raised by the benevolent Highfather on the planet of New Genesis: Orion! One of the Female Furies, escaped from Darkseid's iron grasp: Big Barda! Her husband, Apokolips' foremost escape artist: Mister Miracle!

The Kryptonian Superman proves a mighty foe for the malevolent Darkseid, trapping him in the Source Wall at the end of the universe, a prison for all who seek forbidden knowledge! And Orion, prophecied to one day kill Darkseid and save all life from his evil, eventually succeeded and tore Darkseid's heart from his chest!

But unfortunately for them, and most of all, for us, sometimes death is not the final end! Darkseid has returned to the reborn universe, this time with the knowledge of the Anti-Life Equation! Soon, there will be no will but Darkseid's! There will be no freedom, no love, no joy!

THERE WILL BE ONLY DARKSEID, FOR DARKSEID IS!

LIVE FOR ANTI-LIFE! DIE FOR DARKSEID!
