Hold a gun to my face,

To swallow me up.

For the prize.

Hear my growl
Like the river roars.
My body shall freeze
And cease to be.

But your face shall see
The spirit of me.
Held in pain you shall flee
And sending peace back to me.

I'm now complete
My spirit free
To protect the wolves
Whom they shall never end up like thee.

I am the one they call the Wolf of the River.I was killed, and thrown in.As my killer turns to leave with his prize, my spirit emerged from the river with a nice surprise.My spirit, attacks him, to share my pain that he put on me. With fear in his eyes, he throws that prize into the rushing river.She swallows me whole, making me complete.I am now, the protecter of wolves.But with a rule that I have to follow. True, my spirit is bound to the river. But as the river stretches as far and wide as the earth at my paws, I am aloud to roam as much as I please. My spirit, is whole, solid. No hand shall pass through it, no weapon shall kill it.That rule: I must protect all who comes to harm. Or I shall cease to exist...
