With a quick swish, a wooden door swung open and then shut again. It was almost hard to hear over the rhythmic sound of rain falling on the thatched roof of the old cabin. It wasn't supposed to rain today, but now it was pouring.

The heroine whimpered. She was sopping wet now! She sat down on the aged oak floor and pulled off her rainboots. They were covered and mud, and as she tipped one over, water spilled out. "Bleh!" she exclaimed, quickly removing the other. She then pulled off all her soaked clothing and wrapped herself up tight into a blanket. Once dry, she changed into something light, lit a fire, and hung the drenched clothes to dry.

Well, now that she was back inside, warm and dry... what could she do now? So much for working in the garden!

She huffed and threw herself on the couch. It had only been a few minutes, and she was already deathly bored. "IMMA DIE. THIS IS TOO DULL!" she shouted before burying her face in a couch pillow.

A soft coo replied, emanating from a flower pot on the fireplace mantle. After removing the pillow from obscuring her face, the heroine could clearly see her pet Florella. She'd been asleep, curled up on the potted soil. The screams of boredom must have ruined her dreams.

"Oh... sorry. I'm just... BORED. The rain ruined my fun!" the little girl groaned, rolling on to her stomach to bury her face directly into the couch.

The Florella cooed again.

"But I've read every book already." The reply was muffled, as she hadn't bothered to raise her head. She simply motioned one hand to the many filled bookshelves. All of them lovely fairy tales... all of them worn from previous nights of reading.

The Florella floated from the pot, gently gliding over to land on the coffee table. She rubbed her eyes and cooed again.

There was a long pause before our heroine lifted her head. "Hmmm... maybe... maybe that would be fun. I've never really tried that before." She jumped up to her feet, dragging her jollin tail along the floor as she strode over to the bookshelf. "They were all good individually... but what would happen if I created my own story?"

The little jollin flicked her ears and smiled wide.

"Yeah... what would happen, if I read them all at once!?"
