At birth, Gilly's power and attraction was magnetic. Legend states that the 666th child born in the Third Millennium was set to reverse the fortunes of the Shire, setting the village back 2000 years. No one thought anything of this, except the Elders who knew the full story of the legends and what the early years of the Shire were like under despotic rule. Immediately after her birth as the 666th child of the Third Millennium, Gilly's parents knew there was more to the legend and knew she was to be the epitome of omnipotence. They worried about their child. How could one so small and precious be destined for such malevolence? The Elders of the Shire, ever wrapped up in their mythical legends, believed the prophecy could not be avoided and sought the destruction of this evil imp. More so, they felt the need to protect the secrets of the prophecy so that no one knew the potential horrors of what was coming. Gilly's parents would have to work especially hard to protect their child to ensure her survival. Could they do it? Should they do it?
And our time is running out, our time is running out.
As Gilly aged, her mastery grew. Likewise, her narcissistic personality became evidently clear. Despite this, Gilly truly loved her parents and was grateful that they escaped the Shire to hide their child. Life was not easy for them. They lived in constant fear knowing that the Elders would search far and wide to find and quell the little mythical being before she was too strong to stop them. When Gilly turned eighteen her arsenal of power was at its peak. Knowing that her time to reign destruction on the world that smote her was quickly approaching, Gilly left her parents and returned to her birth Shire. She felt she didn't have a choice. The Elders were after her, this meant the legend would have to come to fruition. Would the Elders be able to appease the wicked Gilly? Would the Elders be able to restrain Gilly and protect the secret of her birth? Would the world be safe... Or was it the Elders themselves, so engrossed in their traditions, that were truly endangering their people?
