Gil

-the undying sisters and Sebastian are reborn beneath him, now part of his entourage, appointed lands of Garé to watch and guard from any harm. he must oversee all this, as appointed to him many years ago. these years have made him cruel and vengeful, which he takes out often on his subordinates.
-"head" goddess/god, white hair, roses, scythe//white gold blade
-horns, headpiece, have some physical attributes of demons, white dreadlocks mixed within locks.
-lace, "hard" lace on headpiece
-associated with a griffin//front of a bird, behind of a white lion/snow leopard, white panther

*how do they contact each other;
Painful visions are sent to Gil's godly servants from his own mind. He often chooses to reek havoc on them depending on how is feeling or simply because it amuses him. Hearing bad news brings him great displeasure, taking it out on his subordinates helps relieve himself of that.-when the undying sisters and Sebastian were reborn beneath Gil, he had given them part of his strength and so, a part of himself resides within them. Doing so forged a bond, a connection if you will, allowing feelings, emotions and even conversations to pass between them. Though the young gods believe this to be one-sided it is not, merely blocked from their rulers side. He can and does feel all that they feel, dream all that they dream, all at the flick of a switch. How else would he keep an eye on his little pets?

*how do they contact him?;
The need does not arise often, but progress must be reported and rewarded if commands have been fulfilled. His prodigies must make their way to Allithia, located deep within the floating isles to meet with Gil himself. Words are not necessary nor does he have the desire to hear them, though words slip on occasion. A simple probe into their fresh memories is enough before he sends them on their way, sometimes new orders tacked onto the old. The odd message here, subtle reminder there, but always the first commands they ever received."Watch over your lands. Defend them, keep them yours and yours alone until the end."

Races distantly related - Vanor, Arcadi and Veline. Veline being one of the ancient core races of Garé. Elven in appearance and nature, these people ruled with such a ferocity which pleased the elder gods. Descended from Veline, the Vanor and Arcadi maintain similarities through their differences. Despite their environmental separation, pointed ears, hair and skin-tone to match their surroundings and a great aversion to conceal their bodies remains. Their hair grows long while their toned physiques remain uncovered, unlike their predecessors.
Said to be kind people, Veline valued their elders, claiming the older you grew, the closer you were to the elder gods. Death was to be embraced as if joining an old friend in a journey to the afterlife.

ABLUBLUBLU
-Sebastian has come to Allithia to give his report to Gil. Unlike the others, Sebastian frequents the towers quite often. he doesn't know why Gil prefers to see him in person. Maybe so his pet could glare at him with those unseeing eyes, maybe he really did enjoy their spoken conversations just as he said, one sided as they were. Sebastian was determined to keep his nerve and more desperately, his throat. He would never say the words out loud, not even to his sisters, but he was afraid of Gil. Though his beast set his teeth on edge, Lethrain was an animal, predictable in nature despite his blood-lust. Gil on the other hand was quite the opposite. Every visit to his superior's home gave him goosebumps that he was grateful he could hide under armor.

Veline
Created; Said to be descendant from gods themselves, the Veline were one of four core races placed in the southern lands of Garë. Many regarded the Veline as overseers of all others, in charge of keeping things running smoothly, keeping things as they should be, as the elder gods intended. Though most Veline were in nature, some defied this widely known conception and became abnormally cruel over their years. These few were often people of power or in high positions within the hierarchy, commonly overseers and elders. It has been recorded that the Veline considered their elders and the general aging process as fundamental to ones life as other cultures consider love, believing the older ones body and mind, the closer one was to the elder gods. Many priests were promoted to higher ranks once they had their 60th name day as this was considered an appropriate age to serve the rest of their race. Having lived half of their lives in service to the gods they were considered ready to live the second half closer for the good of the people.
General Overview; Pointed ears, pale blonde hair, pale skin, pale eyes, everyone has a unique tattoo they are born with, much like a birthmark.
Personality Traits; Kind, parental, feminine/effeminate, wise, bold, elegant, arrogant, egocentric, condescending.
Physical Description; Pointed ears of varying size dependant on gender and age. Pale hair and pale skin, mostly similar shades, pale eyes in three shades: brown, blue and rarely green. Unique birthmark like tattoos that appear around the age of 10, sometimes attractive but other times not. An appealing tattoo is said to be a sign of long life and possible reincarnation of an elder.
Clans/Tribes; Veline have always inhabited the same areas, though as the years continued on, the majority of the race died out leaving few scattered. Veline that remained gathered in their most ancient city, Allithia, where they lived out their days. Only the most sacred servant of the gods was/would be given the gift of the mind so they may talk directly to the gods. A rare gift few Veline came to inherit, but was useful while the population was plentiful. Being able to communicate directly to leaders was just one of many benefits.
Relations; Veline were the parental figure of the other three core races. Protecting their environment not just that they inhabited, but those the others did too. They were to moderate violence, populations and peace. Between the Maldecti and humans fighting over territory, the Veline were very much needed to keep the peace. The Bekhar were not peaceful, but they kept to themselves and off the Veline's radar, apart from the ocassional human death which they deemed accidental. The Maldecti have and always will resent the interference of the Veline with their people, as they claim their gods to be superior and therefore the almighty. They value youth and spiritual leaders rather than the old and fragile. Humans were never very vocal of their support, though choice few had said thanks when the Veline interfered on their behalf.
History; Reigning for thousands of years as Garé's "self-appointed" leaders, (self-appointed according to every other race, not themselves as they were true and obedient to their gods), the Veline had their work cut out for them. For years they attempted to keep humans and Maldecti from each others throats, and they did succeed for the most part until one leader of a Maldecti Sciriba had had enough and focused his efforts on the Veline themselves. Despite their experience in battle, the Maldecti overcame them, murdering the majority of what was left of the Veline in Allithia. A few still remain but no longer do they meddle in the affairs of the Maldecti and humans. They say the few remaining Veline are the true gods, for how could they have possibly survived their races slaughter, but the Maldecti no longer care for the subject, glad their ancestors took care of the matter for them.
Alignment; Lawful good, though the few remaining Veline may fall under chaotic good/neutral or rarely chaotic evil.
Religion; The Veline have several gods, said to rule over the different lands and so they appointed an overseer for each area. These gods stood for love, compassion and kindness which the Veline took in their stride and encouraged the other races to adapt. Though their ways were lost on the Maldecti and most likely the Bekhar, many humans began to understand and worship their same deities.
Adventures; To say the Veline were adventurous would be wrong for they did not seek the glory and spoils of battle, but they did not cower and allow the weak to be taken advantage of. As the watchers, the Veline would forever keep an eye on the humans of their time due to the Maldecti not letting up. If defending someone that is in need then the Veline are indeed adventurous.
When a Veline's birthmark begins to show, he is granted his first weapon and will be known as a man from that day on. Just as it is with humans there are early bloomers and late ones, though blooming early is sometimes a curse if they are not ready to face adulthood just yet.
Speed/Physical Strengths; Veline do not excell at physical things as some other races do, though they are marginally stronger and faster than humans. A Veline's strength lies within the mind and heart.
Favored Occupations; Spiritual leaders, political leaders, watchers, organisational skills teamed with a sense of kindness and responsibility.
Level of Advancement; Highly advanced race, on par with the Romans at their height.
Population statistics; In the Veline's age there would not have been more than 1000 alive at one time, but that is a much larger number than the possible 30 that survived the Maldecti's genocide.
