an unnamed being depicted in narratives as a spirit of hostility and conflict, residing in temples that occupy the hearts of alpine forests -- farther than any human life can reach. these temples cause permanent feelings of rage and aggression to blossom in those who step foot in them, and their forests vague feelings of restlessness and irritation. as a result, the forests that hold this creature's home are common sites of homicides, assaults, and slaughter, much to their pleasure.
the entity frequently patrols its forests to visit sites where brutality had taken place, stopping to stand for several moments as if they were paying respect to the victims. certain sites seem to hold more significance than others, with their number of visits much higher than others. places of violence outside of their forests do not go unnoticed, as well, with defunct neighborhoods and urban alleyways being common locations where the being visits. some individuals have reported catching glimpses of the deer-like entity as a result, from hearing the echo of hooves after an assault had taken place behind a bar, or catching a fleeting glimpse of vibrant plumage while peering through the window of a victim's house. miscellania from scenes of violence are often collected in addition to this behavior, whether it be a shattered bottle, a spent bullet shell, or a stained pocket knife. it's as if the energy from the event still lingers on these items, and they always find a place within the entity's nearest temple.
due to the nature of the creature's fixation, many people have labeled it a bad omen, and even a harbinger of death. it has been said that finding one of its iridescent, blue-green feathers is a curse, and you are bound to meet a savage end at the hands of another. in spite of this, it is unknown to humanity what the creature's true intents are, but it has always only been a bystander.
