There are five worlds. Porture, Hyponde, Gpotia, Nithore, and the human world for which we don't have a name for.

They are linked by portals, but it only ended with war between the greater beings. The gods wished to destroy the portals but the task proved too difficult, even for them.

For thousands of years the gods assigned Guardians who have to use their energy to force these portals into a close, and each Guardian wastes away, dying from exhaustion. As the gods look for another to call the new Guardian, the portals are left open- and exchanges between the worlds happen. War... it turned into friendship. The bond formed between the greater beings is then, suddenly, cut off when the next Guardian is found. For the next 500 years the worlds are again forced apart.

It is my turn now. Unlike the others, I chose not to close these portals. I need not waste my energy, and I have been alive for the past 800 years.

However, I have grown weary of this life I live.

But... has chance changed it all?
