Legacy Name: Jaquro

Jaquro worked in a carnival before opening his famous candy store. He was in charge of the game where you had to knock down 3 bottles with a ball to win a prize. However, his favorite part of the carnival was not the shows, or the games, but the delicious foods!

On break he would walk around and stare at the funnel cakes, the hotdogs, and the hamburgers, but when he passed by the SweetTooth booth, he had to buy some candy! Jaquro would save 10 cents of his daily income and by the end of the week he could buy a piece of candy for 50 cents! The best part is where he would run and hide behind the ticket booth, sit down, and savor each bite of his tasty treat. That one piece of candy would motivate him each week to work hard so he can buy another.

Jaquro developed a passion for everything and anything sweet, but his obsession was candy. He knew one day he wanted to open a candy store where he can hand make each piece and sell the delicate art to his sweet guests. He was determined to make his dream come true.

Over time the carnival began to sell less tickets which resulted in the owner taking out his frustration on the employees. Jaquro grew tiresome of the negative environment and knew the owner would not listen to his plea, so he knew there was only one way out. One choice, and that was to escape.

When nighttime came, he packed up what little belongings he had and made a run for the train heading south. Before taking the last turn to exit the carnival, Jaquro heard a whimpering cry. He stopped in his tracks and noticed a freshly caught baby bear in an awful small cage.

He knew the bear did not belong in this environment as he recalled his memories. He knew the risk of rescuing the bear could take his life, but he took a deep breath and ran for the cage. He unlocked the cage with a pen that he stole from the ticket booth and grabbed the bear. His heart pounded hard and fast as he ran for the exit, he thought his heart was going to explode, but he passed the exit and ran towards the last midnight train.

Several years later The Candy Jar opened up and was a huge success! Jaquro and his companion, Koda, were delightfully happy with their new business.
