NOTESNOTESNOTES; - Demi-god/part demon.
- Father - god of hell essentially. Kind of like how Hades is the god of death, Greek god of the underworld. Can be seen as demonic, open to interpretation. A lot like the Christian god.
- Vik - oldest/favourite child. "Father won't be pleased." "Telling Father." Best at expressing her feelings and manipulating people. Pretends to be the least angry, but is angry too because Kat and Maksim have zero respect for her. Ganging up on her for being the favourite. Vic would cozy up to Father, politics, learn the trade. Very rarely feel bad for Maksim because he doesn't really have anything. Not fav or in line for throne. Just an endless life of doing what he's been doing.
- Aleksei - middle child, tied to memory of their mother. He keeps a ring that was her's around his neck. Vik would bring it up/use this to get to him. This would be one of the few things that would make Kat act violently. Most controlled most of the time. Father would put pressure on him, being the eldest son. Vic is resentful of this because he is next in line to the 'throne.' Dick envy. Kat envious of humans in a way because they don't have predetermined fates. Not born to fulfill a task (mostly). Bored of duties to Father, would be rebellious and test boundaries.
Russian runs in the family? Their mother was Russian?
ALL HAVE REASONS FOR BEING PUNCHY.
Vik's poof - really clean white smoke, fog like when you breathe outside in the cold.
Kat's - dingy and grey, smells like smoke and leather.
Maksim's - deep red, almost black, smells like cigarettes and blood. If poofs too close you can almost taste the blood.
*longer distances would use a lot of their teleporting energy* Only demi-gods have this ability, others would have to take passages and be granted permission.
SOULS; - "mega super bad" - burning for eternity to fuel the fires of hell - burn white. "Extras" - souls that can't be sorted get thrown to the lesser demons, they fight over them, Vik, Kat and Maksim would laugh at their squabbling. "Killed out of necessity to live" - would be recycled. "General sinners" - stay in hell forever to eventually turn into demons themselves.

I see hell as this vast cavern/cave type place with several layers made of rock, fire and bridges/stairs. The lower demons reside below, only permitted to access the upper levels if summoned by someone higher up and even then, permission must still be obtained. Paperwork? Guards that are higher ranked demons around the stairs? to stop any ground feeders from ascending. Hell is in 'sections' somewhat, with the rivers that run through dividing up the area.

What would Maksim be in charge of? Watching over demons by the rivers edge, chained up? Chained together? Digging? Making the place larger. Would he help with re-allocating people? To other sections? 'People' make claims that they've changed and ask to be shifted to somewhere better or to 'move on', think jail. 'transfers.'

Frustration. That was all Maksim could feel, probably all he would feel for the rest of his days. Fuck knows how long that'd be. Knowing his luck, eternity. He pinched the bridge of his nose with a grunt.

"They gettin' the better of you again, Maksim."

Maksim felt the hair on the back of his neck prickle. He glanced up from his papers to glare at Aleksei with his usual disgust. Terrific. Just what he needed. He honestly hadn't even seen him standing there, although his big brother had always been pretty good at sneaking up on him.

"I didn't ask for your opinion." He'd wanted that to come out with confidence, but had ended up sounding like a petulant child. Maksim tried again. "In fact, I don't remember saying anything."

"Well, you were huffing and puffing pretty loudly, Mr Wolf. I was worried you might blow the eternal fire out." Kat always sounded so damn pleased with himself. Maksim hated that. Jealous of the confidence Kat just seemed to ooze. There were parts of his brother that Maksim hated with such a fiery passion, and yet he still found himself envious of the other's general presence. He could command the attention of millions with just a few words and charm a lover into his bed with even less. Maksim resented Aleksei for his natural abilities, the effortless charisma, the ease of which he'd progressed through his life, while Maksim was left behind to work ten times as hard just to get noticed.
